Thirty Minutes Away: Shopping in unique retail shops in Ashland. The Oregon Shakespeare Festival presents contemporary and Shakespearean plays from February through November in Ashland. Nearby Lost Creek Lake is a favorite spot for trout fishing, boating and water skiing. The marina offers boat rentals. Take a stroll through historic Jacksonville, home of the Britt Festival, which features live music performances in the summer months.
One Hour Away: The town of Union Creek is home to Beckie’s marionberry pies (and other delicious flavors!) and the Natural Bridge where the Rogue River flows underground through lava tubes. Jet boat trips and fishing guides are available all along the Rogue River.
90 Minute Drive to: Crater Lake National Park showcases pristine Crater Lake. Hiking and biking along the crater’s rim are popular activities in the summer.
